Bodybuiding - Will You Train Beyond High School?

...food overly processed? What are the off campus choices?

Now I am not saying that you make your college selection based solely upon the gym facilities but it should be a factor if you are serious about your training.

-Finally once you arrive at college, review your class schedule. Then clearly plan a workout time along with your study and class time. If you have to put a routine in the morning, just do it.

-Settle into a routine and stick to it.

-Dont stay up so late. You need your rest to recover from workouts and besides late nights will cause you to want to sleep through that morning routine.

-Lay off alcohol. Its catabolic; meaning it works to strip your muscles off. It acts on the body the opposite of steroids. Its bad news. It will take you places you dont want to go, keep you longer than you want to stay and cost you more than you can imagine.

-Eat right. Do I need to say more?

-read a bodybuilding magazine periodically to keep your focus.

-Hang out with those that are in the gym. They are a better influence in keeping you disciplined.

Okay there you have it. Stay with your training and your freshman fifteen will be MUSCLE not flab!more

Super Bowl Preview

...rom home.

Looking back on this season, Seattle barely won on the road at St. Louis and Tennessee. And the Seahawks lost 23-17 at Green Bay (their last road game), 20-17 at Washington and 26-14 at Jacksonville to open the season. Also note that Seattles defense allowed 21 ppg on the road where they are 7-1 'Over' the total. Pittsburgh has opened up the offense more in the second half of the season and carries a 5-2-1 run 'Over' the total into the Super Bowl. The Steelers also have more experience playing indoors: since Thanksgiving, theyve played three games indoors, one at minnesota and two at indianapolis, going 2-1 SU/ATS.

Finally, games are often won and lost via turnovers and in the trenches. I cant predict turnovers, but I can point out that in the trenches, both teams were outstanding at stopping the run this season, and each ranked in the Top 5 in the NFL. On paper, its a wash in the trenches, which possibly means turnovers will be the la difference, as the French say! Super Bowl 40 should be a fun one to dissect over the next two weeks and watch. Good luck as always...Al McMordie.more

League Two Betting Review

...ide a 56th minute lead but Kevin Betsy levelled matters 15 minutes later. This was John Gormans sides seventeenth draw of the season, something noted by shrewd punters backing at 9/4.

Veteran Ian Taylors goal nine minutes from time propelled 8/15 Northampton into the third automatic promotion spot with a victory against Torquay United on Friday night.

Fifth placed Leyton Orient kept up their promotion dreams and plunged Che...more

NFL Draft Offers Gems for Fantasy Football Players

...y want to watch for a late selection or a free-agency pickup, as the season moves ahead:

1Heath Miller, TE taken by Pittsburgh: Would be ranked higher, because hell probably start, but tight ends are always a big question mark. If you are in a fantasy league that requires you to take a tight end, Miller is a good one.

2Vernand Morency, RB selected by houston: Watch for an injury to Domanick Davis and grab Morency the second it happens.

3Maurice Clarett, RB taken by Denver: They love him and would like to see him prove all of the critics wrong. Hell get a chance to play.

4Matt Jones, WR selected by Jacksonville: Many feel the former QB is the best athlete in the NFL draft. At 6-6 with 4-5 speed and great hands, who knows?

5Roddy White, WR taken by atlanta in the first round. Very fast and underrated. The Falcons saw little from Michael Jenkins last season, so keep a close eye on White.

6Chris Henry, WR taken by Cincinnati. Very big and fast. Could be a factor around the goal line in three and four receiver sets.

7Reggie Brown, WR selected by Philadelphia. The Eagles have a few question marks at the position, not the least of which is the bizarre antics of terrell Owens.

8Ciatrick Fason, RB taken by minnesota. With running back being so unsettled, Fason could emerge as the starter. Watch this one very closely.
